The Algarve offers year round sunshine and numerous golf courses for your pleasure. if you are in the mood for a golfing holiday try the eastern Algarve where Sir Henry Cotton and Seve Ballesteros amongst others have designed their own courses. McDyer golf are offering the chance to play these fabulous courses with holidays including accommodation, transfers and 3 rounds of golf from 295 euros. stay in the picturesque village of Cabanas close to all the golf courses. All accommodation offers sky TV and swimming pool access.
5 minutes away is the course at Benamor Sir Henry Cotton course covering 5497m. the par 71 course was opened in 2000 and covers mature rolling countryside. Less than 10 minutes away are the twin courses of Quinta da Ria and Quinta de Cima. the course at da Ria has spectacular views over the bay at Fabrica and de Cima is one of the most beautiful courses in Portugal. Quinta de Cima hosts 1 day of the senior pga championship every year. Sam Torrence, Carl Mason and many others often appear on this sky sports featured event. Both courses are par 72 playing 6053 and 6586 meters respectively.
A short journey further along brings you to nearby Castro Marim. if you fancy a challenge then Castro Marim is a combination of 3 courses in one all playing around 5500m. The course is set in a nature reserve and overlooks the river border with spain.
