Our Inside Bar

The Casa Algarvia opened in October 2009. It had always been a bar/restaurant but had been closed for a few years. To the rear was a large sunny terrace with great potential for outdoor events and eating with the interior being a quiet cool place to sit, maybe with a newspaper or a book. Take time to keep in touch with home by using the complimentary WiFi whilst watching Sky Sports Live at the bar.

After a short but happy experience with The Grehla in summer of 2009 it was decided to replicate the format of good outdoor BBQ eating. Over the winter a new floor was laid, and outdoor bar built and extensive painting undertaken. Wall art was added by local artist Ray Simes whose work often appears around town.

Early in May 2010 everything for the outdoor terrace was ready and we are now open, hoping for good weather and lots of tourism in Cabanas.
